Cancellation & Refund Policy

When you purchase a Teera planning service online, you are entering a distance service contract as a consumer. Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you normally have a right to cancel within 14 calendar days of the date of your purchase, without giving any reason.

This right applies to Essential, Signature and Build Preparation.

You may ask Teera to begin work during your 14-day cancellation period. At the payment step, you are given the opportunity to tick a separate, clearly labelled checkbox to expressly request this.

What this means for your cancellation right:

• If you cancel before the service is fully performed: You may still cancel, but Teera may retain or charge a proportionate amount for the work actually supplied up to the point of cancellation. We will calculate this fairly based on the proportion of the service completed.
• If the service is fully performed during the 14-day period: Because you expressly requested early commencement and acknowledged that full performance would end the cancellation right, your right to cancel ends once the service is fully performed.

If you do not tick the early-start checkbox, Teera will not begin work until the 14-day cancellation period has expired. If you choose this option, you can cancel freely within that period and receive a full refund, provided no work has started.

If you cancel within the 14-day period and no work has started (either because you did not request early start, or because you are cancelling before Teera has commenced), you are entitled to a full refund of the amount paid. We will process this promptly, normally within 14 days of receiving your cancellation request.

If you requested early start and Teera has begun work, and you cancel before the service is fully performed:

• Teera will assess the proportion of the service already completed at the point of cancellation.
• A proportionate amount for work supplied will be retained; the remainder will be refunded.
• We will provide you with a clear written explanation of the amount retained and the basis for the calculation.

This cancellation policy does not affect your statutory rights where:

• The service is not supplied with reasonable care and skill.
• The service does not match what was agreed.
• There are other failures under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable consumer protection legislation.

Your consumer rights under UK law cannot be excluded by these terms.

You can use the model cancellation form below, but you do not have to. Any clear written statement is sufficient.

We will send you a written acknowledgement of your cancellation promptly.

You do not have to use this form. Any clear written cancellation statement is valid.

Refunds are processed to the original payment method used at purchase. We aim to process refunds within 14 days of receiving a valid cancellation request, and in any case within the timeframe required by law.
